Our Spring Break...Finally

My life has been a little out of control for the last several months and I just have not had time to blog.  I will take a little while today to post some pictures from our Spring Break family vacation.  Jim and I went to a silent auction to benefit the kids elementary and won a 2 nights stay at a hotel in Chelan, Washington.  We ended up being able to stay in one of their 2 bedroom suites right by the lake and it worked out great.  It was basically an apartment complete with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen and a living room with a fireplace.  It was perfect for our family.  It was a short stay and not very warm, but it didn't rain the whole time like we were expecting and it was fun to get away.  The kids really had a great time walking out on the docks on the edge of the lake and just hanging out with one another.

Our first activity was bowling...our hotel room was not available and we saw that the bowling alley was open, so we had a great time bowling together.  It was the cutest little bowling alley with only 8 lanes!

Here is the entryway of the two bedroom "apartment"--well that's what it seemed like anyway--that we stayed in.

The kitchen/dining room

The kids bedroom.  It was perfect for our family.

When we pulled up to the area of the hotel where our room was, this Pepsi machine was right outside our door.  The kids were thrilled!  They each had a few Mountain Dews during the trip.

Just a few pictures of the kids playing by the lake and on the dock.

We decided to have a little "girl" time and went to get pedicures.

Look at our pretty toes!

We had a great time in Chelan and will definitely go back during the summer so we can enjoy the lake.
